Descriptors are missing to describe table name in Salesforce scheduler flow
Last updated 2022-08-04 ·Reference W-11460757 ·Reported By 2 users
NVDA screen reader has no access to the table name to describe it to the user on the Scheduler flow screens. The HTML element table is missing the descriptors required for the screen reader to know. For eg: Description of the table, Summary tag, Caption tag, aria-label, etc.
a) To replicate the issue, we need windows, NVDA installed and prerequisites needed to use 'Salesforce scheduler flow'
b) Run the NVDA screen reader and follow through the Scheduler flow to schedule an appointment
c) Observe on screens Select Service resource, Select Service Appointment Time that it doesn't say the table name under
>> Select the service resource for this service appointment
>> Manage Service Resources.
Actual: As an example, Speech viewer is reading as "table with 3 rows and 4 columns row 1 column 1 photo"
Expected: Speech viewer should read as "table TABLE_NAME with 3 rows and 4 columns row 1 column 1 photo"
