Summary
When trying to create new data source authentication for Apple News Publishers, while having the appropriate permissions and generating newly requested files, getting the following error message: "Authentication failed.
Make sure that the user account has the appropriate permissions and that the password was typed correctly."
Repro
1. Go to Data Source Authentication
2. Try to create a new Apple News Publishers
3. Get to the error message
Workaround
A TotalConnect data stream can be used to manually add the data
