Summary
New Campaign Member Statuses in Salesforce do not always automatically sync to Pardot for use.

Repro
1) Ensure that Connected Campaigns is enabled
2) Log in to the Salesforce Org connected to your Pardot account
3) Create a new Campaign Member Status for an existing campaign
4) Try to refresh the Campaign data via Automation Rules/Completion Actions/Engagement Studio
5) Note that the new status is not available for use

Workaround
A) Make a small edit to the Campaign record to ensure that the LastModifiedDate is updated
OR
B) Add a Lead/Contact that is syncing with a Pardot prospect to the Campaign with the new Status
