Random connection reset packets when making API requests to Salesforce
Last updated 2022-01-18 ·Reference W-10261557 ·Reported By 1 users
There are random yet very rare instances where customers are seeing a connection reset packet returned when making an incoming API request to Salesforce.
There is no way to reproduce this on-demand. It's strictly random and has no discernable pattern.
Salesforce has identified the source of the issue and is working on implementing a permanent fix. The simplest way to work around this issue would be to make sure your client application that is interacting with Salesforce has retry logic implemented to resend failed requests.
