Journey Builder Salesforce Data Event - Sales Channel ID does not find Suggested Values

When attempting to use the Sales Channel ID for Entry Criteria for a Salesforce Data Event in Journey Builder, it is unable to locate any records in Salesforce. This prevents the field from being configured for entry criteria.
1.) Create new Journey
2.) Drag Salesforce Data Event onto canvas
3.) Select Sales Channel object
4.) Try to configure entry criteria with Sales Channel ID
5.) Note you cannot save a value
1.) Synchronize the Sales Channel Object
2.) Query the Sales Channel Synchronized Data Extension to populate a new data extension
3.) Use new data extension as the Entry Source for the Journey
