Tableau CRM (Einstein Analytics) - Dataflow SfdcRegister node unable to set Sharing Source
Last updated 2021-01-14 ·Reference W-8441390 ·Reported By 1 users
When creating, editing or saving a digestNode, the sharing source won't display any selectable options when you close the dataflow. When you return and attempt to edit or add a register node you lose any sharing sources from the available list.
1 . In Analytics Studio Home click in Create Dataset after verifying that connected object has Inherit sharing from Salesforce enabled
2 .Select an object that is supported ( Leads for example)
3 . Click Next
4 . You will see your SfdcDigest and SfdcRegister by default
5 .Click in SfdcRegister and try to select the sharing source
6 .No value is displayed
7 .Create a new SfdcDigest ( make sure ID is added in fields selected) and add the SfdcRegister
8 . You will see the option displayed to be selected in Sharing source once you select the new SfdcDigest in Source node
1.Edit the JSON manually and include the rowLevelSharingSource value with the sharing source you want
2.Edit and save the SfdcDigest node you want to have available as a sharing source
3.With older Sharing Sources showing in the SfdcRegister node, closing the UI and adding the SfdcRegister node again and selecting the correct Source Node is the only way to work around it beyond following workaround 1 and setting it manually in the JSON.
