Changing a higher level area's color updates the legend count to zero

Summary
If you change the color of a higher level area, then it will reduce the child count to zero. Resetting the focus fixes this; however, in some cases, the color change will not stick.
Repro
Found in SF Maps v232.7.1
Create an alignment with at least 3 levels
Open your focus
Change to level 2
Change an area color
