Channel Menu chats do not persist moving between custom domain and force.com domain

Summary
As a result of using the Experience Site domain instead of service.force.com, customers are unable to configure session continuity for Embedded Chat within Channel Menu between external domain pages hosting Channel Menu deployments and Experience Cloud pages. This applies even with the same storageDomain
Repro
1) Open a page on an external webpage with Channel Menu that has an Embedded Chat menu item
2) Start a chat
3) Navigate to a page in the same storageDomain, but where the page is hosted as a Salesforce Lightning Community
Workaround
None at this time with the Channel Menu. Customers can switch to Embedded Chat from Channel Menu, which works correctly at this time
