Service Appointment in Territories using different Optimization Engines cannot be updated together
Last updated 2022-06-26 ·Reference W-11318470 ·Reported By 5 users
A user is trying to make some updates to multiple SA records at the same time in the service appointment list view which has different territories (in Full SB). When the ‘Use enhanced scheduling and optimization’ is enabled in one territory and is disabled in another territory of another SA and if they try to update some information (fields) for both SA’s at the same time, it gives them an error - "Not all Service Appoitnemnt Territories are using same Optimization Engine".
1. Enable O2 in the org.
2. Create 2 territories in the org and enable O2 in one of them using the field 'Use enhanced scheduling and optimization'.
3. Create 2 service appointments - one for each territory. Remember to assign the SAs to the territories.
4. Go to the Service Appointments tab and create a new list view. Make sure the new list view shows both service appointments and their Subject field.
5. Edit the subject field for both SAs and click on save.
The change should be saved successfully.
An exception is thrown: "Not all the service appointment territories are using the same optimization engine. Ask your Salesforce admin for help."
A bug was logged and will be fixed in a future release.
