Error selecting an object with a duplicate label in Einstein Prediction Builder
Last updated 2021-06-09 ·Reference W-8387850 ·Reported By 5 users
When creating a new Prediction using Einstein Prediction Builder, an error can occur when attempting to select an object that has a duplicate label with another object.
As soon as the object is selected, and mouse focus changes to something else - the selection disappears and an error appears. A prediction can then no longer be made with this object.
A user should to be able to build a prediction on any deployed custom object.
Error appears: "Enter and select the name of a valid object"
1. Create a custom object with the same label as a standard object via Object Manager.
2. Create a new prediction, navigate to the object selection step, and select an object with a duplicate label.
3. Click or navigate outside the selection list.
None at this time.
