Summary
AWS S3 buckets can be used as the source or destination for some Marketing Cloud activities. A defect has been identified where buckets located in certain regions may not be handled correctly by Marketing Cloud. When this occurs, the generic S3 error "File ... not found" is returned.

Known supported S3 bucket regions: us-east-1, us-east-2 (not exhaustive; most regions supported)
Known failing S3 bucket regions: ap-east-1

Repro
If an activity using an AWS S3 bucket returns the "File ... not found" error, eliminate other possible causes of the error, such as an authentication failure, incorrect path, or missing file. If these elements are valid and the S3 bucket region is outside the list of known-working regions above, the bucket region may be causing the failure.

Workaround
Use an S3 bucket in a different region, such as from one of the working regions listed above.
