Summary
Lookup Query with Tested Field set to a Picklist field on the Quote Line with a default value, the value is not recognized until either the field is edited (and edited back) or when the Quote Line is Saved or Quick Saved
Repro
-Set up a Price Rule that utilizes Lookup Query to another Object.
-Set up a Lookup Query to have a Tested Field set to a Picklist field with a Default value
-Attempt to run the Price Rule
*expected behavior* For the rule to execute
*actual behavior* The rule does not execute until the Picklist is edited or when it is saved
Workaround
-Make the Picklist field not have a Default value and make it Required for users to set
-Use the Twin field functionality in the following article to map the picklist value from the Product object to the Quote Line object.
