Accessibility: The NVDA Screen Reader Misses Incoming Messages While Waiting for an Agent and When Ending a Chat

While waiting for an agent, the NVDA screen-reader user does not hear the messages "Hello, Guest! You're up next! Connecting..." When closing the chat, NVDA says "end chat" multiple times. When closing the chat, the NVDA user does not hear the message "Don't worry. After the chat ends, you can save the transcript..."
1. Visit https://www.salesforce.com/company/contact-us/ or the public-facing page of any Salesforce org using Live Agent.
2. Make sure the NVDA screen reader is running and speech is being heard.
3. Press the Let's Chat button. Observe that the messages "Please wait..." or "Hello, Guest! You're up next! Connecting..." are not heard.
4. Press the Close button. Observe that NVDA says "end chat" multiple times. Observe also that the message "When you click End Chat, your chat session will end." is not heard.
