Summary
From time to time, customers who log in to AppExchange see the following error: “We can’t log you in because of an authentication error. For help, contact your Salesforce administrator.” For repro steps, see Scenario A.

Others customers may experience this issue after they log in to another Salesforce site (example: Trailhead) with their Trailblazer.me account, then log in to AppExchange. In those cases, customers see the following error: “Hmm, something’s not right. Try refreshing the page, or come back to AppExchange in a few minutes.” For repro steps, see Scenario B.

Repro

3. Enter your username and password.
4. The following error appears: “We can’t log you in because of an authentication error. For help, contact your Salesforce administrator.”

Scenario B: Login Issues on AppExchange after Visiting Another Salesforce Site

Workaround
There is no workaround at this time. Instead, log a case and provide the following details.

-- The full URL of the page where you received the error.
-- A screenshot of the error.
-- The username you used for the login attempt.
-- The email address associated with your Trailblazer.me account.
-- Your Trailblazer.me profile URL or ID number. Here’s how to find your profile URL: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=sf.tbid_profile_urls.htm
