Summary
In rare cases where the additional attributes call fails there is no indication to the user that an error has occurred and additional attributes appear to be missing from the asset. Editing properties and saving the asset can also cause a failure for the asset to update and it will be saved without the attributes on the saved asset.

Repro
1) Create, save, and then edit asset properties (don't edit attributes) with attributes.

Workaround
The workaround is to make sure attributes are loading before editing an asset. Meaning, you see the attributes on the properties page before proceeding with changes that could cause the delay to save the asset without the information.
