In Summer 21 release, Default field values not always set when creating new record from related list
Go to a contact record, Click the associated Account name
Now viewing the Account, click the Related tab
Click 'New' in the Releatd List for an object
Observe the Account name field is not pre-populated
Manually populate the account name field when creating records.
