Send Throttling with a dedicated IP address can result in delays for some sends
Last updated 2021-10-19 ·Reference W-9167770 ·Reported By 0 users
With a dedicated IP address, throttling sends can cause future sends to be delayed.
1. Send an email using your dedicated IP address and send throttling
2. Further sends can queue behind the throttled send causing delays if the throttled send is waiting for another hour or specific time to send.
Do not use Send Throttling if you have a dedicated IP. If you have multiple dedicated sending IP addresses, choose one specific one for throttled sends and your others for non-throttled sending.
