Last updated 2021-01-14 ·Reference W-8561416 ·Reported By 0 users
Adding a filter on a field that returns only null values will crash the browser..
1 - Create a dataset that includes one field comprised entirely of null values.
2 - Explore the above dataset.
3 - Click the "Filters" tab
WARNING: when you do the next step, your entire browser will freeze, so save anything you don't want to lose!
4 - Click the "+" button to create a new filter
5 - Search for and select the dimension field that returns no values.
6 - Once selected, your browser will spin and spin and then freeze and crash everything. You'll likely need to kill the pages or restart the browser to continue doing anything.
1 - Ensure that at least some of your records contain a value in all fields.
2 - Create your filter using the SAQL editor.
