Analytics - Apps based on classic Sales Wave and Service Wave templates unavailable in Summer '20
Last updated 2020-07-28 ·Reference W-7824001 ·Reported By 19 users
A known issue has hidden apps based on classic Sales Wave and Service Wave templates. This has impacted the availability of custom assets stored in those apps.
“Sales Wave Analytics (Classic)”
“Service Wave Analytics (Classic)”
We are working to restore access to these templates.
Assets (datasets, dashboards, lenses, and app-related dataflows) from apps based on the impacted templates are not currently visible.
As the apps themselves are also not visible, there's no direct check for impact.
If you have assets stored in an old app (generally created prior to 2018) that have suddenly gone missing, this is the likely reason.
No workaround is available at this time.
Once visibility has been restored, we recommend following these steps to move assets out of the classic apps:
Review your apps.
For apps using an impacted template, follow these steps to move assets out:
1. Create a blank app.
2. Move assets:
Datasets: Edit the dataset and change the App to the new app. https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=bi_dataset_edit.htm&type=5
Lenses and Dashboards: Use Save As to save the asset into the new app.
3. If the App Dataflow has been modified, download the dataflow definition. Create a new dataflow and upload the definition. https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=bi_integrate_workflow_configure.htm&type=5
