Einstein Activity Capture - Contact Sync Duplicates for Contacts with Emails

Sometimes Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) can cause duplicate contacts if an org has multiple contacts with the same email and different or same names and a user has newly been added to sync config. The cause is due to unexpected behavior during contact matching process for newly created contacts in Outlook.
1. Enable EAC
2. Create a Sync config.
3. Add a user to the sync config.
4. Connect user's email to EAC
5. Observe duplicate contacts in both Outlook and Salesforce
Manually clean duplicates in both systems i.e. Outlook and Salesforce
