ETL not interpreting special characters properly

When importing values with special characters through an ETL Feed, the special characters are being converted to '?' instead of remaining the designated character.
1. Import a value with a special character (ie. á,é) through an ETL Feed
2. Review the value in the UI to see it is showing as '?'
At this time there is not a workaround for the issue.
