Unable to remove mapping using an Event Time field

Summary
When setting up a mapping of a Data Stream to your Data Model, you can map a field set as an Event Time field to your Data Model, but after saving the mapping you cannot remove this mapping.
Repro
- Create a Data Stream
- Select a Date field as your Event Time field
- Create a mapping of the Event Time field to your Data Model
- Save your mapping
- Go back into the Mapping of the Data Stream
- Attempt to remove the Mapping of the Event Time field
An Error 'Event Time field mapping cannot be removed' will appear along with a GackId
Workaround
Delete the Data Stream/Model Object to remove the mapping. This will mean all mappings will be deleted.
