Summary
Within the Marketing Cloud, any attempt to use an email with a top level domain will not validate and does not allow you to save and use that as the notification email address. For example, notification emails can be sent when imports or automations complete.
Repro
1. Within your Marketing Cloud account, input a top level domain such as "username@domain.software" as the email address for notification for Import Wizard, Automation, etc.
2. Encounter "Not a valid email address" error/warning
Workaround
Top Level Domains are currently unsupported for notification emails. Please use an email address that does not use a top level domain, such as username@domain.com
