"Add to Price Book" button on Product in LEX selecting an incorrect currency

When clicking the "Add to Price Book" button on product related list in LEX the currency we select from the picklist is not the one which is actually selected.
1. Enable multi-currency
2. Add multiple currencies
3. Add multiple standard prices for products under different currencies with the same value
4. Go to Product related tab
5. Click "Add to Price Book" action
6. When the standard prices are the same as the USD price for a product, the dropdown defaults to USD
This is not limited to USD and can happen for any currency.
Select the correct currency for a second time in the picklist.
