In Lightning , when we use a quick action to create records, it results in duplicate records if the "Save " button is clicked multiple times when the save is in progress.
We can observe that the button greys out when the save is in progress , but however for a split second once the save is done and it is returning to the main screen, the button will be active( turns blue). If the user happens to click the save button ( due to clicking it continuously)it creates a duplicate record.
Go to Asset Object in Setup ( for example)>>Object Manager.
Go to Actions.
Create a new action.
Type: Create a record.
Choose type: Case.
Fill in details and save.
Put this quick action on page layout.
Test the functionality.
Open a record.
Click the quick action.
Fill in info.
Click the Save button.
You may notice that the Save button becomes inactive on click, then becomes active again for a split second.
You may click on the Save button again to create a duplicate record.
None at this moment
