Error number encountered when attempting to upgrade a package in a Trial org

When attempting to upgrade a package in a Trial org an error might be encounter. When navigating to the 'Deployment Status' part of the setup menu, and selecting the package deployment that failed, an error will display similar to:
Install failed, Details: Your requested install failed. Please try this again. None of the data or setup information in your salesforce.com organization should have been affected by this error. If this error persists, contact salesforce.com Support through your normal channels and reference number: 1421397139-57458 (-1635799828)
The linking factors of this issue seem to be the error number and that this is a package upgrade attempt in a trial org.
Error numbers reported with this issue:
1. Create a trial org with a package already installed
2. Attempt to upgrade that package
3. An error will be encountered including the error number -1635799828 or -38729699
In the subscriber org, edit the passwords on the named credentials which are in the package before performing the package upgrade. It should work to just re-enter the correct/dev org value of the password.
