Analytics - Dashboards embedded in Lightning Pages prior to Spring '18 are being referenced by dashboardId instead of developerName
Last updated 2021-04-06 ·Reference W-4269893 ·Reported By 0 users
If a dashboard was embedded in a Lightning Page prior to Spring '18, deploying the Lightning Page to another organization would cause an error similar to the following:
"Component [wave:waveDashboard] attribute [dashboardId]: The id [0FKB00000006szIOAQ] is not a valid dashboard id"
This occurred because the Lightning Page was referencing the dashboard by dashboardId instead of the developerName.
While this no longer occurs for newly embedded dashboards, the error may still appear if the dashboard was originally embedded prior to Spring '18.
N/A - Cannot be reproduced in new Lightning Pages after Spring '18.
1) Remove the embedded dashboard from your Lightning Page
2) Re-embed the dashboard to your Lightning Page
3) Re-deploy the Lightning Page and you should no longer encounter the error
