"Set Case Status Button" component not updating Case Status

Clicking the "Close Case" button ("Set Case Status Button" lightning component) in Communities may seemingly fail to automatically update the Case Status on save, when the update does, in fact, succeed.
1. Go to Case Detail page in Community Builder on a Napili template community.
2. Drag and drop the "Set Case Status Button" component into the page.
3. Go to any test record and press the "Set Case Status Button" button.
Status field should be visibly changed.
Change to Status field can only be seen after refreshing the page.
Refresh the page to see changes made using this button component.
