Summary
Occasionally an Email to Case submission can fail with the error containing the trace" -102518988". An error email containing this specific number will be sent to the Automated Case user. This is related to an application connection time out.
Repro
Email is submitted to an Email to Case service address and an error email is sent to the Automated Case user. This known issue specifically covers only the error email containing the string -102518988.
Workaround
Manually create the case based on the details provided in the error email sent to the automated case user.
