Lightning for Outlook & Lightning Sync: Attachments fail to get attached to Salesforce Records

Upon attempting to assoicate an Event that contains an attachment to a record in Salesforce and error is generated in Lightning for Outlook. The cause is the ID isn't being passed correctly causing the error.
1. Select Event with an attachment
2. Open Lightning for Outlook and select or search for record to associated the event to
3. Associate event.
4. Error will be generated and event will be associated but not the attachment
No current work around at this time.
