Users see a "Data Not Available" error when viewing standard object record after a global quick action is deleted.
1. Login as a System Admin
2. Create a new Quick Action of Action Type "Create a record" and set Target Object to a custom object
3. Create a new feed based Contact page layout and assign it to your profile for all record types
4. Make sure the layout inherits the quick actions from the global layout
5. Navigate to the detail page of an existing Contact record
You see a "Data Not Available" error.
No errors. You can view the record details without issue.
As a workaround you can edit the page layout then save it without making changes. This should resolve the issue.
