Lightning Experience Buttons are unresponsive unless the actual text is clicked.
Switch to Lightning Experience
1. Navigate to any object within the org via the navigation bar at the top.
2. Click on the outside of the 'New' button (not the actual text )and notice that nothing happens.
3. Repeat the process with any of the other buttons and nothing will happen.
4. Click the actual word text in the button and this will populate the input pop-up as desired.
Click on the actual text of the button or use Classic.
