Last updated 2021-10-12 ·Reference W-7707877 ·Reported By 3 users
From Summer '20 onwards, We are replacing User Profile Menu with Customizable User Profile Menu for -
All new communities created using B2B template.
All new communities created using any other template but with themes like Ember, Cypress, Jepson etc.
All existing communities (Created using any template) where customer applies a theme (Like Ember, Cypress etc.) after moving to Summer '20 code base.
After moving to Summer '20, Customer can expect to see the new Customizable User Profile Menu in communities for above-mentioned scenarios
If customer has already retrieved the Communities (With themes) Meta Data using Experience Bundle on API Version 48.0 (Before moving to Summer '20 code base) then their Meta data will still have old User Profile Menu (Internal component name - themeProfileMenu) and after moving to Summer '20, when they will try to deploy it using API version 48.0 OR 49.0, then deployment is going to fail because of latest code has replaced the component.
1- If Customer still wants to use 48.0 API Version then they first needs to go to Builder in their community and using Header's builder properties, replace the User Profile Menu with Customizable User Profile Menu. And then retrieve the Meta data again using 48.0 API version and after that deployment on API version 48.0 should succeed.
2- Or Else customer first needs to go to Builder in their community and using Header's builder properties, replace the User Profile Menu with Customizable User Profile Menu. And then retrieve the Meta data again using 49.0 API version and after that deployment on API version 49.0 should succeed.
Is it Fixed?
