'Use the native browser for user authentication on iOS' doesn't work as expected in Sandbox orgs
Last updated 2022-02-10 ·Reference W-7120873 ·Reported By 0 users
Users may encounter a '403 disallowed_useragent' error when attempting to log in to a Sandbox org using oAuth via the Salesforce mobile app on an iOS device. This occurs even if the 'Use the native browser for user authentication on iOS' setting is enabled in Setup.
0- Configure your org to use an oAuth provider for login and enable the 'Use the native browser for user authentication on iOS' setting.
1- Open Salesforce for iOS app
2- On the Login page click the Gear icon in the top right corner
3- From 'Choose Connection' page, click the + icon in the upper right corner.
4- Enter the My Domain value for your Sandbox org and provide a label.
5- Attempt to login via your oAuth provider.
6- Receive '403 disallowed_useragent' error.
(Expected behavior: login flow will continue in device's native browser window.)
None at this time.
