Summary
When sorting on the Contact Name field, duplicate records may be returned for Case reports, list views, and SOQL queries for Community Users when there are null Contact Name values.
Actual result: Extra, identical entries are returned when querying the Case object and sorting on Contact Name when there are null values for that field.
Expected result: The appropriate number of records are returned.
Repro
1. Create a Case record where the Contact Name field value is null.
2. Add a Record List or Report Detail component to the community, or query the Case object as a Community User.
3. Sort by the Contact Name field.
4. Duplicate results may be returned.
Workaround
In such circumstances, do not sort on Contact Name.
