Switching your feed to show 'Fewer Updates' on Tasks might distort or crop the resulting feed and record detail page
Last updated 2017-04-14 ·Reference W-3231789 ·Reported By 0 users
When setting the New Notes quick action on a Task's page layout as the first action viewed, switching the chatter feed to show 'fewer updates' crops the page until it is switched back and forth. Once switched back and forth, this resizes correctly.
1. Make sure to have set up Feed Tracking on tasks to track at least one field. Open Feed Tracking from setup tree. Click on Tasks. Enable feed tracking and check a few task fields. Save.
2. Edit the Tasks Page Layout and set the 'New Note' quick action as the first action from the left.
3. Create a Task record.
4. Make changes on the field(s) which were set to be tracked in Feed Tracking; there should be 3-4 or more feed items shown in the feed.
5. Now switch feed from "All Updates" to "Fewer Updates".
This results in no items being displayed and the calendar links beneath the feed being cropped.
Switching between Chatter Actions or placing any other action other than 'New Notes' as the first action to the left will resolve the issue.
