"This page can't be displayed" error when navigating to Article Detail page within Community Builder

Summary
Some users may get a popup error when they navigate to the Article Detail page within the Community Builder.
Repro
1. Login as a System Admin
2. Go to Setup
3. Select | Customize | Communities | All Communities
4. Click the Builder link next to one of your communities
5. From the Page picklist select Article Detail
At this point you will get the following popup error:
This page can't be displayed
The Article Detail page relies on your Salesforce data and because you don't yet have any relevant content, the page can't be displayed. Add some appropriate content and try again.
Workaround
As a workaround you can:
1. Login as a System Admin
2. Go to Setup
3. Select | Customize | Communities | All Communities
4. Click the Builder link next to one of your communities
5. Make sure you are in the Branding Editor tab
6. Navigate to an article within the community preview. For example if you have the search component you can search for an article, select it and be taken to an Article Detail page.
