List View column re-sizing is not retained in Lightning Experience
Last updated 2018-12-05 ·Reference W-3049693 ·Reported By 10 users
Summary
As of the Spring '16 release, it is now possible to re-size column widths for List Views when using Lightning Experience.
However, in some cases a user's column re-sizing may not be retained when they revisit the same List View. Instead, the List View's column widths will be returned to default values.
Repro
1- Access a List View using Lightning Experience.
2- Edit the width of a column in the List View.
3- Navigate to a different page or List View.
4- After some time, return to the previous List View.
5- Observe that the previously re-sized column width is not retained.
Workaround
Clicking on the header of any column to sort the List View by its values will restore custom column re-sizing.
