Case Team Member records are copied over to partial sandbox when Case object is not in the template

All Case Team Member records are copied over to partial sandboxes when case object is not in the template and either the org has a custom setting or a custom object is in the template.
1, Create a custom setting.
2, Create a case team role (Setup > Customize > Cases > Case Team Roles).
3, Create a case record.
4, Configure case layout to make case team related list visible and assign a case team member to the case.
5, Create a sandbox template including only account and contact.
6, Run a partial copy using the template. Then you'll find the CaseTeamMember records (core.team_membership rows) copied over though case records are not.
Open a case with Support and mention this Known Issue.
