Non-gregorian calendars which have a year that does not match the gregorian year are incorrectly handled in the Date Picker
Last updated 2021-05-26 ·Reference W-2899958 ·Reported By 41 users
Summary
If the locale is set to Thailand, selecting a date from the popup calendar the year is incorrectly calculated. (userLocaleLang = "th", userLocaleCountry = "TH") the year increases by 543 years (because the buddhist calendar is 543 years ahead of the gregorian calendar). This, however, should not be expected behavior in our settings.
Also, when the Date Picker is displayed in these circumstances, the wrong years are listed in the "select" in upper right corner of the popup.
If the locale is set to Thailand, the year should show as 2016, but displays as 2559.
Repro
Set your user locale to Thailand - Follow the steps above using the Date Picker to select a date.
Workaround
Switch your locale to a non-Thailand locale.
