Salesforce Triggered Send receiving Invalid Email for new contact/lead
Last updated 2019-09-06 ·Reference W-4053698 ·Reported By 1 users
Customers using a combination of Marketing Cloud Connector and Salesforce Triggered Sends may see triggered sends fail for new contacts/leads created through a form, who have partial information synchronized to the synchronized data extension in Marketing Cloud including a null email address value.
1. Configure synchronized data sources including the contact and/or lead object
2. Create a triggered send to launch upon creation of the contact/lead object record
3. Create a new contact/lead via a form
4. If the contact had a partial synchronization, the trigger will fail with an 'Invalid Email' response
Utilize Journey Builder with entry using the same object and based on the same requirements of the trigger.
