"Invalid Date" Is Shown for date values used in Filtered Mobile Lists

When creating filtered mobile lists in MobileConnect or MobilePush, you may use a date field. After saving the date, refreshing the list, and clicking edit on the filter you can see "Invalid Date." This only occurs in browsers other than Google Chrome.
-login to marketing cloud in Firefox > mobile push > manage contacts
-create new filtered list > choose a date attribute and value
-save as filter and let it refresh
-click edit next to the filter criteria once its done refreshing
-note the date shows as "Invalid Date"
Edit filtered mobile lists in Google Chrome or note that the overview shows you the correct date before you click in to edit the criteria.
