Last updated 2018-02-10 ·Reference W-4479124 ·Reported By 1 users
When a user attempts to submit a Chatter post with a File attached and the post’s content violates an active Transaction Security policy, the following incorrect error message will be displayed in Classic if Communities are NOT enabled in the org:
'no fields were accessible for displaying validation error: U#5af.24ff (OriginNetwork)'
If Communities are enabled in the org, the correct error message will be displayed:
'The operation you requested isn’t allowed due to a security policy in your organization.
Contact your administrator for more information about security policies.'
0- Ensure that Communities are not enabled, and you are using the Salesforce Classic UI.
1- Set up a new Custom Policy on the 'FeedItem' resource, with Real-time Actions set to Block.
2- Navigate to the Chatter tab.
3- Upload a File from your computer and attach it to the Chatter post.
4- Compose a post that violates the new Customer Policy.
5- Click [Share] and confirm the incorrect error message.
Enabled Communities in the org or use Lightning Experience.
