Translation for flow component inside a public community page is not working when the language is changed with language picker.
1.)In a fresh org Create a new flow by clicking setup→ flows→ new flow
Add a screen element
Add a display text - inside the display text add the content “This is English”
Make the screen element as starting element and save the flow (ignore any warnings) - call it TestFlow
2.)Enabled translation workbench
Goto setup→ Translation settings→ Enable Translation workbench
Add yourself (the sysadmin) as the translator for Spanish language
Now goto Translate page
Setup Component: Flow
Flow Type: Flow
Flow Component: ScreenField
Flow Version: 1
The desciption appears as “This is English” → provide a translation as “This is Spanish” and save
3.)Now run the flow - the flow screen pops-up and the display text “This is English” is shown
Change your language to spanish in another window.
4.)Now run the flow - the flow screen pops-up with the display text “This is Spanish”
This confirms that the basic translation with flows is working.
Now activate the flow.
6.)Goto setup→ communities and click new community to open the social studio community builder
Get started, give a name and choose to build your own with empty template.
7.)Once created, open the community builder
Add a language picker and the flow component
Goto site.com builder and Spanish languages in the list of available languages
save and publish the community
Make the community public.
8.)Now launch the community to see the flow with text “This is English”
Change the language in Language picker to “Spanish”
The flow text DOES NOT change.
No workaround as of now.
