Salesforce for Outlook: Side Panel quick actions - recently viewed records appear automatically in the Lookup fields

When selecting a quick action option within Salesforce for Outlook Side Panel, upon opening the new record page, the drop-down lookup fields displays recently viewed records immediately (before selecting the Lookup field)
Example use case: using a quick action to create a record that utilizes the Account Lookup field
1. In Salesforce, make sure there are results for recently viewed Accounts
2. Open Outlook
3. In the side panel, use quick actions to create a new Opportunity (or another object with Account Name field)
Result: The drop-down displays immediately for Accounts
Expected Result: The drop-down should only appear after clicking within the text area.
