Internal Server Error assigning task with attachments to multiple users or when opening attachments on records

Summary
In some orgs with Summer 17 release, end users see Internal Server Error with an error Id ending in either:
54667900 - when assigning task with attachments to multiple users
OR
268475797 - when attempting to open an attachment related to a record such as an Outbound Email Message for example.
Repro
1) Go to Opportunity record
2) In “Open Activities”, click on “New Task”
3) In Assigned To, click on lookup. Select “Multiple Users” tab. Choose User and select multiple users
4) Populate all required fields
5) Click on “Attach File” button. Select any file.
6) Save
End user sees error: Internal Server Error Id ending in: 546679007
The error only happens in some orgs. The error only happens when attaching file to multiple users
Workaround
Assign task and file to only one user at a time.
Alternatively, contact Support to see if other options may be available by asking Support to reference the Internal Notes section of this Known Issue.
7/7/2017: The scope of this Known Issue has been expanded and now includes occurrences of Internal Server Errors (ISEs) when attempting to view/open attachment records.
If you suspect that you may be impacted and are receiving ISEs when working with attachment records please log a case with Salesforce Support to confirm whether you may be affected by this Known Issue.
