In Lightning Experience and Lightning Console, you can’t navigate search results history

In Lightning Experience, if you perform multiple searches in a row and click on a result to view a record, your browser's Back button takes you back to the search results for your first search. If you perform multiple searches in a row and don't click on any results, the Back button takes you to the page you were on before your first search.
In Lightning Console, the first time you use global search, the search results page opens in a new Console tab. When you search again, subsequent search results pages load in the same tab. This is different from Classic Console, where each search opens a new Console tab.
See summary above for steps.
There’s no workaround. We’re working to change the behavior so that users can navigate search results history using the browser’s Back button in Lightning Experience and using multiple tabs in Lightning Console.
Is it Fixed?
