Unable to update SESSION TIMEOUT when PASSWORD EXPIRATION is also updated at same time in profile edit page

Summary
When “User passwords expire in” and “Session times out after” are updated in same transaction in profile edit page “Session times out after” is not updated.
Actual Results:
Unable to update “Session times out after” field when “User passwords expire in” is modified in same time.
Expected Behavior:
Able to update “Session times out after” field even if “User passwords expire in” is modified in same time.
Repro
1. Login to Salesforce
2. Open any profile record
3. Click [Edit] button
4. Update “User passwords expire in” and “Session times out after” field
5. Click [Save] it.
Note: Please update the both of “Session times out after” and “User passwords expire in” in same time.
Example)
BEFORE
“User passwords expire in” - 15 minutes of inactivity
“Session times out after” - 30 days
Try to update values
“User passwords expire in” - 30 minutes of inactivity
“Session times out after” - 60 days
AFTER
“User passwords expire in” - 15 minutes of inactivity
“Session times out after” - 60 days
Workaround
Please update the “User passwords expire in” and “Session times out after” fields separately.
