Summary
When a filtered data extension that was created from a synchronized data extension is linked in Contact Builder's Data Designer and new fields are added to the source sync DE, the new field is not added as an Attribute in Contact Builder despite being successfully added to the filtered DE.

Repro
1) Create a filtered DE from one of the contact or lead sync DEs
2) Link this filtered DE into the contacts model via data designer
3) add a field to the contact or lead object
4) refresh the filtered DE

Result: The filtered DE shows the new field however in the contacts model there is no attribute created

Workaround
-Unlink and relink the filtered data extension in data designer.

NOTE: Performing the workaround will create this link as a new relationship. Any decision split, goal, or exit criteria in Journey Builder or Mobile Filtered list would need to be re-created. Active Journeys would need to be created as a new version in order to make this update.
