The new JavaScript Amendment/Renewal (JSAR) functionality in Salesforce CPQ allows for larger contracts to be amended without encountering platform Apex limits. However, for small numbers of Subscriptions/Assets, the JSAR can take a longer time to perform the tasks than the legacy amendment/renewal system, sometimes several minutes based on queue traffic. During periods of slow performance, users are stuck on the amendment page until the loading screen allows them to proceed.

1. Create a contract with 1 subscription
2. Click Amend
3. Amend

Currently, users have to wait for the loading spinner on the screen to disappear after the amendment has been completed on the back end and re-directs users to the Quote Line Editor.
